Jesus
At Spirit Life we not only believe—but we KNOW ---that Jesus is God and we take Him at his Word. Because of this, everything we do is all about Jesus and for His glory. We invite you to learn more about Jesus and how you can find forgiveness of sins and a new life in Him. You see, many people, even Christians say they know “about” Jesus.
But many do not have an intimate relationship with Him. However, just because we have an idea of who Jesus is---doesn’t mean we actually know Him. At Spirit Life, we’re all about Jesus—and the only way to get to know Jesus is to understand what the Bible says about Him through the fellowship and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We are a Spirit Led Church, and our desire is to see you and your family touched and transformed by the love of God through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Located in Palm Coast, Florida, our highest aim is to yield ourselves to the work and conviction of the Holy Spirit whereby we can become a reflection God's love and grace.
Our vision is to to build a sanctuary of worship in Palm Coast, Florida, where Spirit Led believers can reach new heights in offering up to the Lord the highest praises, through both song and the teachings of God's Word. To educate both young and old in the uncompromising Word of Truth and wipe out Biblical illiteracy through the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit, to see God's healing and saving power manifested by His Spirit in our community, our nation and around the world, for the glory of God.
The Holy Spirit
We named our Church Spirit Life Worship Church because we have a passion and hunger for Him.
Job 33:4 (KJV) says, the Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
When a sailboat is in harmony with the wind it races across the water---but when it is not it is “dead in the water”.
When a believer understands the laws that govern the winds motions and is brought in harmony with the Holy Wind, the sovereign Spirit of God will work through us and accomplish His glorious work through us.
Jesus said,
John 3:6-8 (KJV)
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth(sovereign), and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
But when a believer is not in harmony with the Wind they are “dead in the water”.
When we STAND in harmony with the WIND we will see His mighty effects.
The power of the Spirit is not just a feeling you get inside you at conversion. He is the promise of Jesus Christ to make us witnesses to the world of the truth. The Church of west is in terrible shape because of the lack of power, because of the lie that we are full of the Spirit.
We will never see our nation impacted with the gospel until we admit to our fruitlessness, our fleshy attempts to do God's work, and our complete lack of the anointing of the Spirit.
Many intellectuals do not understand the trinity. That's because it is a mystery. Jesus can be understood ... the virgin birth cannot. Prayer can be understood, but praying in the Spirit cannot. Water baptism can be understood, but being baptized by fire cannot.
The trinity can be better illustrated this way.
An orange has the outer layer (the skin), the inner layer (the juicy stuff known as the meat), and the seed. All three components make up or composite but one orange. All the DNA for that orange is in the DNA of that seed.
Water is one substance that can be liquid, gas, and a solid distinctly or all at the same time. It is called H2O. Hydrogen: 2 parts oxygen= 1
Corrie Ten Boom said this:
If I have a glove in my hand—the glove can do nothing by itself.
But when my hand is in it---it can do many things. It is not the glove---but my hand in the glove that does the act.
We are the Gloves----the Holy Spirit is the Hand who does the acts--- we have to make room for the hand to that every finger is full.
A sail boat on the water can do nothing by itself. But when the wind fills the sail----it can move across the waters at amazing speed. It is not the sail—but the wind that does the act. We are the sail boat---the Holy Spirit is the wind who does the work----we have to be in harmony with the wind to move in the direction of the Spirit.
